Sonomax reports short delay for Phase III milestone

	    MONTREAL, Sept. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Sonomax Hearing Healthcare Inc.
(SHH:TSX Venture) reports that announcement of the results of the Phase III
milestone for its off-the-shelf, self-fitting, custom earpieces, originally
scheduled for the end of September 2009, will be delayed by approximately two
weeks. Sonomax now expects to announce the Phase III results on or about
October 13, 2009.
	    The Phase III milestone involves having subjects fit themselves using the

	    Sonomax notes that the short delay results from an R&D decision to
incorporate a design improvement in the product.
