I expect that the omission of any news about the M/G block means that negotiations are still going on there between the company and the government of Trinidad & Tobago. If Canadian Superior Energy's intention was to drop this project, management would have announced it in this press release upfront just as it mentioned that the Mayflower and Marauder leases were being abandoned in order to clear the slate going into 2010. I don't expect that Canadian Superior Energy and Petrotrin are going forward with drilling on the M/G block in January 2010 as scheduled. There was an unsubstantiated rumour going around on one of the boards that there is a lot of opposition to drilling on the M/G bloc in Trindiad by surfers and scuba divers etc as this is a block that fronts on the shoreline and that people there don't want any drilling on this lease so it may be up to Petrotrin to do what it can to satisfy the environmental powers that be there. Has any seizmic testing even been done on this block yet, or a bottom survey? I don't think so....don't remember.

The other possibility is that maybe Candian Superior is negotiating a farmout with a third partner and negotiations are at a sensitive stage and must remain confidential, however, management would have indicated that without saying anythin else to pique the interest of shareholders.
