Exploration and production of oil and natural gas.
Hi Jim; I think that simply the IV site has been in operation a lot longer than Agoracom. Correct me if I am wrong but I think that Agoracom is just over a year or a year and a half old. I started out on Stockhouse and read that for a couple of years and then I found that a number of posts were getting pretty offensive, there were a lot of "pumpers" and "bashers" and it became clear that a number of posters had multiple aliases and were working for investment firms. So I looked around and found Investor Village. I never joined any of these boards but just read blogs every day. I have shares in Connacher Oil and Gas CLL and the CEO Richard Gusella recommended Agoracom specifically as he was getting tired of all of the "pumpers" and "dumpers" playing games and insulting him and the company. So I switched over mainly to Agoracom as it is a factual site, self regulated with little name calling. I don't look at the Yahoo site. blog. I wonder if easy67US is the same person on the IV site. I expect that most of the participants on the Yahoo and IV sites are American investors especially on SNG/CHO as they are freaking out that they cannot buy or sell SNG/CHQ in the USA anymore since they went into CCAA protection. This may have something to do with SNG's share price going up 40% last Friday and 16% yesterday on the TSX especially if all of the American buyers and holders of SNG can only buy the shares now on the TSX due to New York not listing SNG. The other boards I would say are more active due to the large number of American investors on them just because there are more American investors and they tend to buy more highly speculative shares than many Canadians will touch. That's my opinion.
Best Wishes; Scott
