Here is a tidbit of information that I gleaned today from reading page 9 of the Monitor's Second Report concerning Oilexco's restructuring under CCAA protection dated February 24, 2009. It indicates that Oilexco's banker is none other than the Canadian Western Bank in Calgary......page 9 item 27.

In light of this information it sheds light on why a small bank such as the Canadian Western Bank might want to recall their loan to Canadian Superior as the Canadian Western Bank may already be at risk with their financial arrangements with Oilexco. This could be in addition to their recalling the loan to SNG the day that BG got a court appointed Receiver for SNG's Block 5(C) holdings which appears to have triggered the loan recall.

I have no idea in response to duncanmcl's question about the value of SNG's properties in Trinidad at present or what Canadian Superior Energy will get for them.
