We have been discussing what could have happened to have caused the disappointing results from he SRC and we have pretty much exhausted all possible scenerios, at least those that we can think of.
The last topic, that we discussed at length, was the issue of the brown diamonds that were found in the composite drill core. Some of us speculated that these brown diamonds could have had a brown coating or skin and that may have been the residue of the hematite that is thought to have skewed the SRC results. Rightly, we have also discussed the fact that no such coating has been mentioned in any official communique from the company.
If the revised SRC results reveal more otherwise colourless diamonds with the same brown outer skin or coating, I hope that Snowfield will have them analysed to find out what the coating is and confirm that the stones are otherwise colourless (if indeed they are, of course). This may avert there being a negative impact upon the s/p and investors confidence.
Any comments or thoughts?
Good luck to all....peterjr
