Message: Brown Stones

Hi bestguesstoo,

I know that your post was directed to Glass and I'd hate to sound lke I am preaching, but I'd like to say that we need people that question the validity of what we post. In the case of the brown diamonds, or any other matter, we have to be sure that we don't start confusing what we speculate and presume with what is fact.

With respect to the value of brown diamonds, when asked Snowfield about this they were brutally honest with me and said that they are not worth much. They also said that they are found in just about every diamond mine and, no doubt, Mud lake will be no exception.

Conversely, I think that we'll see more clear white stones, in the SRC re-processing results, that have been liberated from the coarse crush. What will be interesting, however, is if more diamonds turn up with the same brown exterior as those found in the core samples. If they find them in sufficient quantity, I suspect that SNO will get them examined to find out more about them.

Good luck and sorry for barging into your conversation with Glass.

Good luck...peterjr
