I realize that this is a speculative play but any buyer will want to know what he's getting first. At that point, the stock has a value. This value is what the stock price will rise to reflect.
It's up to management to ensure that the value of the company is known. For instance, in this case, DeBeers is buying a look at the bulk sample results. Why would they divulge the results if they were interested in buying the company? It's up to SNO manangement to make sure that we know the results and the actual plus the potential value. We as shareholders demand that right, under law.
