Robbi, sounds like you really understand the heart of 1st generation forums and why they are destined to fail, as well as, why the AGORACOM model is destined to succeed.
Thank-you for all you have done to spread the word, as well as, help keep the site clean. We agree that both hyping and spamming are bad for stock forums because both focus on the result ($10 or $0), as opposed to solid information and analysis about why a company will move in a certain direction.
As such, you hit it right on the head when you stated:
"Let the companies and their management teams worry about taking stockprices to the next level."
It isn't the job of a forum or its investors to drive the share price in either direction. Rather, it is the job of investors to present the best facts and opinions possible so that everyone can make their best investment decision possible. AGORACOM's job is to facilitate that process and make sure unscrupulous investors do not poison it.
