I don’t really need to say anything. This chart of the S&P 500 from last May to today says it all. But I will point out some important facts. Keep in mind that when I use the term “the market” I refer to real people making important financial decisions. The direction of the stock market is a composite of millions of decisions made by these people, most of whom understand the effects of political decisions on the financial markets.
