I agree - average Joe gets 1/3 - 1/2% interest in savings account to pay for these bleeding hearts. There should be no Christmas bonuses for anyone this yr. People should simply face reality & be content with less. Perhaps they should start enjoying the simplier things in life - like going for a walk or skate with a child or grandchild instead of buying them a $2 -300 gift on their overextended credit card.

My gosh how in the world did the older generation survive & be happy without T.V.'s, computers or credit cards? They enjoyed basic things, each other & were far less greedy!
