"FYI - DTCC March 14, 2014 NSCC’s Rules & Procedures to discontinue its Stock Borrow Program.
ruling becoming effective 3/14, meaning no more borrowing of shares (which mostly used for naked short selling). I wonder if this may cause a massive short covering across many securities if shares were borrowed.
