antimony rose 2 percent this week after a 2 percent increase last week because of reduced supply. Antimony prices rose on Friday amid supply concerns driven by China's environmental crackdown on smelters there. MB trioxide-grade antimony rose to $15,500-16,000 per tonne on Friday, up $300 from two days earlier. Standard grade II antimony rose by the same margin to $15,400-15,900 per tonne. Chinese suppliers continued to raise offers for export this week.
