That is exactly why I re-posted this article and pointed out this particular paragraph, as all the discussions have been about legal short selling.
From Aug to early Dec-2010, there was a "source" close to the investigation saying some 345 criminal and 180 civil arrests were made. Then there's good old Madof in the mix.
Eric Holder is on the hunt BIG time, to include the 124 or 134 (I forget the #?) recent arrests in MA, RI & NY Mafia Families, but not related entirely to this financial fraud topic.
If in fact Silverado is a target of massive naked short selling, and the DOJ drops the hammer down, in my opinion, there will be a short squeeze of large magnitude and heads will role BIG time.
It is highly speculated if this goes down as many feel it will, many will cop a plea and rat out their "buddies" in which case in my opinion, the numbers will be substantial.
Should this move occur and the company announces what we are hoping for, this will be a happy crowd.
JMO gang.
