All of my holdings are in street name with a broker, accept for one penny stock, in which the BOD requested we convert them to certificates to eliminate the manipulation by the MM's, and it was a total failure, even though a majority did what the company asked.

If this is what your question is about concering Silverado, good point, but IMO this would not help the PPS rise. And if my understanding is correct, one would then need to convert them back in street name to sell them anyway, but I could have been misinformed or did not understand the process as explained to me by the Fidelity guy, many years ago.

I suggest you walk into a local office and ask a CFP your questions.

In the mean time, we can see the MM are holding it back as usual.
