metals are definitely on the agenda. i hope something comes of this:
WASHINGTON, Feb 23 (Reuters) - The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission said on Tuesday it will hold a public meeting on March 25 to examine futures and options trading in the precious and base metals markets.
CFTC Chairman Gary Gensler had previously announced the agency would review whether position limits should be imposed on metal contracts, similar to the meetings the CFTC held last summer on position limits for energy contracts.
Gensler said in a statement "the meeting will be part of our ongoing look into how the commission regulates futures and options markets on commodities of finite supply."
