2009 was better than 2008 for precious metals and mining stocks (i know that's not saying much) but i expect 2010 will be better still. i think we will see gold at $1500 sometime this coming year, and silver should take out the recent $21 high. perhaps more importantly, i expect the mining stocks will outperform the bullion, and if the bidding war over canplats is any indication, the juniors will participate in, and could even lead the rally in gold and silver.
