the good news is that pirquitas is still on schedule to pour concentrate this quarter. but their estimate is only 6 million ounces of production this year (i had hoped for better) with full production of 10+ million ounces next year. also the zince circuit may be further delayed, which i attribute to zinc's low economic value. first the zinc price is down, and second the smelters don't want it right now except at a large discount, so using the equipment on the silver circuit instead looks like a good idea. with total costs of $26/ton, this will be a very profitable mine.
