Indeed there are wild swings.  What else is new?  :)

I really don't know what will happen for the rest of the week.

I don't go in for short term predictions.

I look at 3 month to 5 year time frames for the most part.

I look at seasonal swings too.

Over the next 2 years, though, I think SSO is set for a huge lift once the Pirquitas mine is making solid quarterly profits for Silver Standard.

(Or before - it depends on how many investors "look forward" and how far forward they look) 

I think with current conditions that most commodities and even PMs (which I will lump with commodities, even though there are some differences) will continue to rise (slowly or rapidly, happens rather haphazardly regarding speeds) for the foreseeable future.

We have been doing the old "herky-jerky" advancement routine with both gold and silver for a number of years now.

But all the fundamentals for continued price increases all seem to still be solidly in place.  Including the increasing difficulty in finding new cheap sources of supply.  There is still plenty of supply, but it is not nearly as cheap as it used to be.
