the pitarrilla project will be going to pre-feasibility later this year. that is not a bankable feasibility study. i thought san luis was the next project in the pipeline after pirquitas, and it still is. san luis is a high-grade joint venture with esperanza silver, and sso earns a 70% interest by taking it to feasibility, and 80% by going into production, so it is on the fast track. they also said exploratory drilling at san luis would enlarge the gold and silver resources.
someone also asked if sso might try to buy the entire project, but the response was that the contract only called for an 80% interest. imo, that is something that might happen but i think it will depend on how much success esperanza has with its other properties. their last drill results were actually pretty good, with wide intercepts although fairly low grade, but the market didn't seem to like them, and the stock sold off, which will make it harder for epz to raise capital.
