i figured out where the difference came from on the sale of bullion profit. they listed the cost at $5.85 but that was in us dollars. the loonie is at parity now, but it was much weaker in 2004, so the cost back then is $c 8.08, which gave them the historical cost of $15.8 million. so the profit was around $28 million us, or $24 million canadian. either way a great deal for the company.
