Hmmm..

That is a rather subjective statement.

My tone also sounds like somebody well satisfied with my investments in Silver Standard overall.

I believe that Silver Standard has considerable investment value - more than its current market cap. However, you seem to be wanting to insist that it is not "a successful business".

I find that very hard to argue against, simply because you can define that whichever way you want and then shoot down all my arguments.

Why even try?

All I can say is that based on my evaluation of its assets, business plan, and whatever future prospects I can see (for the direction of various costs, prices, etc.), I personally believe investing in Silver Standard is a good risk.

I have explained some of the individual reasons several times.

That you choose to disregard them does not mean that I have not shared them.

I see this period - likely from here till approx September - as a period where there is likely a lot of "investor ennui" from those looking for a "quick profit". Therefore, I do not expect a lot of big positive movement in this time frame.

I think for those "get rich quick" investors, September to December is a great time frame to start accumulating Silver Standard.

Of course, if you are an investor who is loathe to speculate in their investing - even with a small percentage of the total - then you should indeed wait until it has proved itself as a consistent earnings generating company.

Some investors get in early - before the company is so well established with earnings - after evaluating the company's future potential. Others wait till it has achieved a longer and more established track record.

You appear to be the latter kind. Fine with me.

The early guys get more risk and much more reward (if reward occurs). The later investors get less risk and less reward.

That's investing life. If you need to wait until it is a "successful business" according to your definition in order to invest, by all means do so.

I expect you will be waiting another 3 to 5 years for that unless your mind is already made up (like the Deep of the Yahoo message board) that it will never be a successful business.

If you are not willing to invest in this company at all, I find it exceedingly strange that you are willing to spend the time and effort of coming to this message forum and posting here.

In the words of movie actors and directors: "what's your motivation?"
