Let me address all these points.

Notice that I have not deleted your post, despite your overstatement of the facts (as I see them).  It is possible you fully believe your post to be true.

a.  I agree with your comment on independent thinkers, and I urge you to also live up to that standard

b.  Your posts have not been any issue for me until this "war" started.

c.  I was open about my suspicion, I stated it up front.  What do you expect when you choose the handle "deep"!?

d.  I was also willing to maintain an open mind about whether it was an ill-advised joke or something more sinister.

e.  Other than addressing the issue of your handle, I accepted you and gave you a vote rating of 4.  Only when you started deleting my posts with no explanation did I start any "innenuendo" of any kind.

f.  The deleting of my posts was the first break (as I saw it) in the "spirit of discussion we all came here for".

g.  I "went behind your back" to this extent:  I asked the admins to look into the situation and handle it swiftly and fairly.  I did not suggest any particular action to take.  Whatever they did, they decided on doing.  They have the records to base that decision on.
