silver standard's performance over the past few years has been spectacular but no one wants to have all of his eggs in one basket.
another stock that has done very well for me is silvercorp, which is a producer operating in china, and just paid its firs cash dividend. but that stock has already had quite a run. anyone who wants to diversify into lower priced silver stocks can look at endeavour silver and genco resources. both companies trade under 5 (for now!) and most of their value comes from exploration potention, but both of them have already gone into production, so they arent just speculations. they are well funded, have built mine infrastructure, and still have lots of upside potential based on their properties in mexico. even if the price of silver doesnt go up, these are growth companies.
deep, you've been a silver investor for a long time. what silver stocks do you like, besides silver standard?
