I disagree.

"no news is not good news"

If there were nothing going on behind the scenes, we surely would have heard some bad news, such as the scheduling of a sheriff's sale, or other negative actions related to the various goings on. I take the lack of news as an indication that they are in the process of dealing with the various problems. Whatever is happening may or may not work out, but stuff we would have expected otherwise seems to be on hold.
