Message: Question for Spiny

The bad news is that SFMI has a lot of problems. The good news is that there is nothing that can't be solved with money, most importantly paying off debts. IF they can come up with financing, then debts can be paid off and drilling, Sinker rehab, mill upgrade, etc., can begin. I also presume any financing would be contingent on PQ leaving, or at least giving up control. I can't imagine anyone providing financing otherwise. If that happens, then there is tremendous upside. At present prices and outstanding shares, SFMI is only valued at around $1m. There is probably at least a hundred times that just in the waste ore on the mountain that can be cheaply extracted (no mining involved) once the mill is running efficiently. And drilling should produce results quickly- the locations of the major surface veins are known, and contrary to what you may have read elsewhere these veins extend well beyond the historical claims. Also contrary to what you may have read elsewhere, veins do no just go straight down- most are at an angle, and therefore by the time they intersect the Sinker they are probably no longer directly beneath the historic claims. Historic data also indicates that the veins maintain their grade to depths below the Sinker. I would think Roger Scammell was aware of the nature and orientation of the veins when SFMI increased their claims well beyond the boundaries of the historical claims.

SFMI could be profitable just from the waste ore. I also expect any drilling to produce results quickly. If this doesn't make SFMI a takeover target (and deposits like those historically mined on WEM are rare nowadays), then SFMI should be able to start mining relatively quickly, probably from the Sinker. There is work to be done in the Sinker before mining starts (especially an escape entrance), but that is a matter of just doing it. Unlike many junior explorers, SFMI knows there is gold and silver there and has a good idea where to look based on historical information and recent (though before 43-101) drilling.
