Well, gold did break the $1200 mark, but I don't see it moving much lower in the short term. I wouldn't buy, but I wouldn't sell, either. Need to see something big happen to move the price in either direction. I would say that the short term trend, as I've been saying all along, is clearly down. However, the bottom has to happen sometime, and maybe $1200 is a good floor. JP Morgan seems to think so, since they've been replenishing their physical depositories.

Silver should get pushed lower in the "no man's land" period. I'm not buying or selling silver, either, right now. If we break below $18 I'll start buying futures. If it keeps going down, I'll lose on my futures, but get a lower physical price, which is the name of the game in the long run, anyway.
