I agree that your scenario would be ideal, but I had a friend and partner that had his attorney involved with many of our transactions. This attorney was so focused on getting every term in his clients favor and getting every last dollar in their favor that if a deal was ever made, his client couldn't loose. The problem was, there were few deals made. I see PQ as the same type of person and therefore a deal will be very difficult to be made, especially under your scenario. However, if the situation becomes desparate enough, anything is possible. I don't know if I would root for the situation becoming that desparate. I guess the good thing is that the underlying project is so good, it can survive all of this.
