Garick- Blatantly lie? No, I didn't say that- at least not in that post. But we have been lied to, weasel-worded, and misled a lot. I was told that the Oso ore was 4 oz/t. And look at the PRs- Just before the SHM two years ago, a PR said the mill was doing 125 t/d, then at the meeting we were told only 40-70 (IMO that bomb was the big reason for the sp drop from that meeting). And take a look at the PR just after the mill was opened. Initial grades were running at 0.75 oz/t. How long did it take to for them to give us the true values? Then we were led to believe that it was only the silver that wasn't being recovered efficiently, and it took them two years to tell us that they weren't recovering the gold either. And don't get me started on all the PRs about how production at the Melba mill was imminent when in actuality everything was effed up and they were making plans to move to Diamond Creek. I could go on...
Don't put words in my mouth about things I haven't commented on. Yes, the county has tentatively approved the leaching system (assuming no objections), but they still have a ways to go. And I have never talked about PQ's offshore stuff, or said drilling will never happen, just that drilling damn well should have happened already. I don't deal in fairy tales, just what we get from SFMI- and believe me, that has been bad enough at times. No need to talk about a fantasy $350M mansion when they ran the mill at a loss for two years and didn't tell us, and then tripled the mill manager's salary as a reward. I have never questioned that progress has occurred- but I have questioned the undeniable screwups, the lack of honesty and blatant BS that we have been fed, and the escessive dilution to line the pockets of PQ and family.
As for the Sinker, a PR a while ago said the rehab was complete- obviously not quite true since extensive rockbolting is still required. We weren't allowed to tour the Sinker two SHMs ago for safety reasons- which I assume are still valid. As to the work in the Sinker, re-read the PR- They haven't even awarded the contracts yet: "Contracts for the work inside and outside the Sinker Tunnel will be awarded in the shortest possible time frame."
And yes, I GET IT. But if you say you "don't have concerns", then do you get it? There are real concerns here. I'm sure they will make it, but over a much longer time span and with much more dilution than was necessary.
