They're now dismissing all the official reports on WEM. RBKisshisownas in his usual incompetent way couldn't find the reference to an 800lb nugget. If he would get his facts straight, he might have found this in the Piper Laney report (one of the fundamental references that everyone should be familiar with, especially if you are going to post):

"He also reports that about 100 feet below the surface there was found a homogeneous solid mass of the light ruby silver, proustite, which weighed more than 500 pounds and displayed, in part, the planes and angles of a crystal. Browne concluded that there is probably no second example of a similar mass of crystalline proustite being taken from any mine."

Among other things, he can't even read. He says 800 lbs, but all the references, including the SFMI website that he says is the only source of the information, state that it was 8000 oz, or 500 lbs. What a dumbass.
