The debt was only a trillion dollars .... govt spending and expansion wasn't what it was like as it is today.

Question remains...Will the govt confiscate gold again to pay off their debt?

As far as the Euro..I see it dissolving especially with Greece leaning toward the Nazi Party and France becoming ever more socialistic. Amazing, Obama invites the Socialist from France to America and pisses on a real allies, Israel and Germany.
