The timing of when to get into (back into?) SFMI depends on whether you consider it part of a monolithic JPM market (which it sort of is as long as there is no news), or a miner with a laughably low sp just waiting for news to shoot up. It's true that the sp can be played with as long as there is a lack of significant news, or poor news, or whatever, but at some point the good news will overwhelm any other effect.
