The value I calculate is so high , I find it hard to believe. Please review my calculation and tell me if i made mistakes, and what you come up with.
10 tonnes = a metric ton 1000 Kilograms . I used a US ton of 2000 pounds which is 907.18 kilograms per dictionary, ie less than a metric ton. 10 US tons x 2000 lbs = 20,000 lbs.
20,000 lbs x 14.583 Troy ozs. = 291,660 troy ozs. 291, 660 x 65% Gold = 189,540 troy ozs.If sold at $1750.00 per oz. = $331,695,000.00 $331,695,000.00 for GOLD
Silver = 35% x 291,660 troy ozs.= 102,081 troy ozs. of Silver.102,081 troy ozs x $34.00 per oz.= $3,470,754.00 . Add $3,470,754.00 for silver and $331,695,000.00 for Gold and the total is $335,165,754.00 . LINDY
