I think you nailed it on the head. Contractors are paid in shares and they could care less about the price of the stock. They just want to be reimbursed for their services. Some posters may think MMs are naked shorting, but the fact remains, that if they did, every share that is sold short their company is obliged to have $2.50 in capital per share, so on a .06 stock, there is no logic in that theory.
