That doesn't make any sense to me. SFMI is in debt to evey investor who has invested in their project so far. The money didn't come from thin air and will have to be paid back with interest... Every penny that has been spent so far is debt no matter how you may want to spin it.

Debt is money borrowed today with a hope of repayment in the future with interest.

If you do some more research on Northern Star Mining instead of a couple of quick google searches you will find more similarities than you might wish to admit to. But, that is neither here nor there, SFMI will stand or fall on it's own merits regardless of what other miners have done.
