It is too bad we're dealing with these types. Whether he wants to cover shorting or buy lower to go long, it is sad to see what these markets are infested with. The info below applies directly to sfmi, imo (and it interesting to note that sfmi now has funding into production):
The play book of the shorts say that only perhaps 1-in-1,000 junior mineral explorers makes a world class discovery that gets funded all the way into production. What are the statistical chances that this time will be any different?
These daily “walk downs” provide a little bit of short term relief from a collateralization point of view but they really only postpone the inevitable of the discovery is real and the moutain is a legitimate exploration project. When you watch poker on TV you’ve seen those hands that somehow just get completely out of control even though you followed your play book to a “T”. But the playbook says don’t worry about that 1-in-1,000 “Black Swan” event because even when they occur you still can make up for it by predictably killing the next 50 U.S. corporations you attack.
