Definitely not off topic. How in the world can discussing anything concerning the metals, or what drives them, be off topic when SFMI's total existence depends on them?

In order to understand SFMI, or any mining stock, you have to know at least something of SFMI's market. That includes any of the drivers that control gold and silver. Let's face it, supply and demand matter. Too much supply? Forget about any mining stock. Not enough supply? Great for SFMI.

What primarily controls supply and demand of gold and silver? In a free market it would probably be jewelry, industry, collectables. This isn't a free market. It's so political that anything & everything affects prices.

In reality, nothing is off topic, government action, fraud, the bought media, crimes against those trying to tell us about the underlying causes, etc.

Of course, if some only want to talk about SFMI's actions only, then this is going to be a pretty quiet forum. The SHM has pretty much had any and all news expressed by those that attended. Now what do we talk about? The charts? How about this forum being better than iHub? Well, that's sorta O/T because it's not about SFMI.

Be careful about being too critical when people post info that isn't just about SFMI itself, otherwise knowledgeable people may decide they won't share general, valuable info that could affect any and all mining stocks, or gold and silver, which will in turn affect SFMI's business directly. Then we could talk about it too late and after the fact. Wouldn't that be just dandy!
