B,
I know of no gold producers with a capitalization of $10M or under. There is only one near term gold producer that I know of, which is Ruby Creek Resources (RBYC.OB), that has a market cap under $10M. They're at ~$2.5M right now. They are developing a potentially huge alluvial deposit in Africa. Needless to say, there's a bit more political risk involved there. Alluvial deposits are easy to "mine" and process- simply dig up the dirt and separate the flakes of gold. They'll probably start producing this summer, and be cash flow positive by the end of the year. I'm not invested in them because I avoid politically unstable areas. As soon as SFMI starts producing gold (and silver), they will have the lowest capitalization of any producer I know, which is ~$10M at the moment, though that may well go up as the mill commissioning date nears. There are many "explorers" capitalized at many multiples of SFMI, with less proven potential and years of drilling, permitting, raising capital (read: diluting), and construction to go before there will be even a whiff of revenue, much less profit.
I'm no expert by any means, but I pay attention to people who are. As far as I can tell, SFMI is the company with the most potential with minimal risk out there.
