Correct, ed, but numbers like 2 oz/t gold draw much more attention than 1 g/t spread over X meters wide by Y meters deep by Z meters long. One grabs your attention immediately, the other requires a bit of math before you know how much is involved. And 2 oz/t is more profitable- less mining and processing per oz. And anyway, we have the deposit size to match. If indeed the grades are in the range of 2 oz/t, with 300k tons of ore sitting around that's 600k oz- even before we start mining! Profits on the "tailings" will be maximized simply because there are no mining costs involved, only hauling and processing.
