Good news today, both for SFMI and the general mining and PM market. Almost all buying at the ask, but still the price is stagnant, or as I write, actually down. Why is this? Seems like there's always someone who jumps in and offers shares below the previous sell price even when the trend is up. It might very well be shorting, maybe by someone who bought the cheap PIPE financing shares and can always use them to cover eventually (when the trading restriction is lifted). A notorious aspect of PIPE financing. With ~100m of those shares around, there's a potential for an awful lot of shorting (not to mention naked shorts). This will only stop when it's clear the share price can't be held down any more- and that will only happen when enough revenue is flowing in to make it clear how much this stock is worth. IMHO, the one thing we need to move this sp dramatically upward is the commissioning of the mill.

See my 9/1 post on "Corruption and shorting in the market" for a link to an article that includes some discussion of PIPE financing and associated shorting.
