Acknowledging the risk of delving (pun intended) into matters too small for investors here to concern themselves with too much....
Since the new mill site in the War Eagle foothills is out of range of traditional cellphone signals (I lost my AT&T/Cingular signal just as I drove onto the property- a nearby hillock seems to be blocking the land from the Boise towers to the north), one solution envisioned is to aim a new microwave transmitter toward the property, installed on a nearby existing tower. If that tower can be verified to be in the required line-of-sight, that plan will be how the mill's internet/comm is established. If the line-of-sight isn't adequate, then satellite technology will be employed.
Speaking of utilities, and I was, the needed water for the ore processing will be supplied to the mill's storage tanks via truck, from the Sinker tunnel area just up the mountain.
When I visit the site later this month, I very much expect to see a widened/strengthened driveway, topsoil scraped away at the building site, and final prep underway for the cement pour. That would keep us on a schedule for the first test crushing of ore there in late October.
in response to S.F.M.I....phone home by LongSFMI posted on Sep 05, 09 09:55PM In this message thread I should also mention that the mill structure, a pre-fabricated building, has been completed at the pre-fab factory (I don't know where the factory is though). The manufacturer is waiting for delivery instructions from Silver Falcon, in particular for the desired delivery date. The idea here is to not haul the structure away from the factory until the War Eagle site is ready for it. That way, an intermediate storage step is not required. The building will be assembled by connecting a number of erected cross-sectional segments in series. Re: S.F.M.I....phone home
And hopefully you saw the mill now has a name and road access has been granted;
