I read that email where Kamal Alawas said in a email response to a shareholder who asked for a update on Sidon and here is the cut and paste.

The date on this blog was June 7th where Kamal mentions that he has to file the 43-101 and other documents to the exchange. Then 2 days later we receive a email from Kamal that says all paper work is filed.

That tells me he is really serious to get Sidon up and rolling...!!!

IMHO I think we could see approvals within a week or so because they have been going back and forth since they announced the Letter Of Intent back April 31, 2010.

I am sure Kamal does not want to see a repeat of the mining company who did a deal and after a hugh gold deposit was discovered, the party sued and wanted more of the company or more money. Whoever the company was, they lost out and we sure do not want Sidon to be tied up in the courts....

Kamal wants to be very careful to insure that all our bases are covered...!!!!

I emailed the company and they are not close to having the exchange approve the deal. Here is a copy of the email I received

Dear G;
Thank you for being a share holder, and thank you for your email.
As you know this transaction involves legal paper work from other country and I am being very careful to insure that all our basis are covered. I would rather take the time and do it right. We have been working on getting all agreements reviewed and reviewed again. The PP is over subscribed and filed with the exchange but we need other documents including the 43-101 report to be filed as one filing for the exchange to look at it, we are doing so now but I have no time frame when it will be done. I have been with the company for over 23 years and for an exciting deal like this one I am happy to wait a little longer.
Rest assured everything is being done to get this deal moving forward.
thank you again and welcome to our family of shareholders.
Kamal Alawas/SD president

That sounds to me like they still have yet to file everything with the exchange
