Last week when we were invited to post questions I had questioned DB about his involvement in the approval of the DRV/MMG split and how that had implications for us as SMH shareholders.

They did invite me to contact them via telephone to discuss this but I have taken the position that anything they can say or would say to me in private should be available to all of SMH shareholders and they should be prepared to put their statement or position in writing.

I am unaware at this time of a SMH shareholder rights policy and would expect to see one in place before any seperation of assets takes place. Perhaps as investors we should have done more due diligance prior to investing in MMG or DRV to ensure our rights were protected. The MMI situation has gotten totally out of hand and I am sure many of you who are solely invested in SMH, keep wondering why we keep harping on DRV/MMG in this forum. It is to keep you informed and it is a cautionary statement to be involved in the process or end up dealing with the same outcome!
