I am aware of several juniors that are in the midst of private placement offerings, and the market is trending lower. Unfortunately there are some market participants that will aggressively short into the news of a placement, and perhaps some shareholders are selling in the market to redeploy capital into the placement. In either case, it would have the effect to depress the share price. Add in the lack of enthusiasm overall for all the juniors in this market environment, and that would account for why the stock is low. It is likely that a lower unit price will be negotiated than the original offer @ 25 cents, to reflect the lower market value at the current time.

I know there is already a book of orders in hand and the company is in discussion with several large players that would complete the subscription when they they confirm. If there is no firm confirmation shortly, the company will close the first tranche of the placement for the participants who have their forms submitted and are patiently waiting. I would also add that insiders are participating in the deal.
