You can earn activity points by filling your profile with information about yourself (what city you live in, your favorite team, blogs etc.)
The fact that this can happen at all gives us cause for concern. It certainly hasn't improved our SP although no reason to believe that it hurt it either.
Hopefully David is monitoring this board and is following up appropriately.
