I guess that, despite his supposed attack on Brent Cook (which wasn't one, really), West now realizes that he completely missed what Cookie pointed out instantly - that the "glory hole" intercept was nothing but a confirmation of a previous, small, non-Ventana-sized resource that had already been drilled out and 43-101ed (by BTO I think?).

As Cook notes, "this gold was already factored into the price when it was at 23 cents."

Sad that West's other reccy is EVG - Grandich himself, EVG's previous promoter, sold out of that one a week or two ago, and his frustration with EVG is legendary. I wouldn't be proud of that one! All it's done now is crawl its way back to a previous high. And trading Grandich for West is definitely a big step down for EVG.

And he doesn't mention GNH any more? The shine's worn off that too, has it? Why doesn't West remind everyone of how that reccy has done?

Not that Cook's reccies are all genius - he did reccy FCV, which has tanked since he owned it, and which he's now dumping for a major (>50%?) tax loss. Though IKN News has FCV as a favoured pick. (And Cook's tax loss selling has only driven it down 10-20% - there's strong accumulation there, hint hint).

But at least Cook did read SFF's property's 43-101, and West obviously didn't. So yes indeed, Mtl, how could anyone take seriously a newsletter writer who hasn't even read the 43-101 and looked at the drill map?
