Saturn Minerals & Swift Resources Receive Drill Permits
Appoint new CFO
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 15, 2009) - Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SMI:) ("Saturn") & Swift Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SWR) ("Swift") (the "Companies") have received approval from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for 41 drill hole permits on their coal property holdings located near the town of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. The permits remain in effect for one year from the date of grant.
As announced by the Companies, (news release, May 8, 2009), Fugro Airborne has mobilized their flight crews to The Pas, Manitoba, and the airborne geophysical surveys of the Companies' coal property holdings in Saskatchewan (as well as areas applied for in Manitoba) are expected to begin immediately.
Data generated by the airborne geophysical surveys, combined with data from the Companies' recently completed ground gravity survey (news release, April 15, 2009), will be incorporated into a NI 43-101 report (in preparation) which will dictate the timing and location of all drill holes.
The Companies also announce that Larry Johnson has been appointed CFO of the Companies. Mr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Bachelor of Science (Geology), and has over 20 years of experience in exploration and as CFO of several listed companies.
