SANDSTORM GOLD RELEASES VOTING RESULTS FROM ANNUAL AND SPECIAL MEETING

The annual and special meeting of shareholders of Sandstorm Gold Ltd. was held today, May 16, in Vancouver, B.C., at which 66.3 per cent of the issued shares (as of the record date for the meeting) were represented. Shareholders voted in favour of all resolutions presented, including the re-election of all director nominees, namely Nolan Watson, David Awram, David E. De Witt, Andrew T. Swarthout and John P.A. Budreski.
