San Gold Corporation - one of Canada's most exciting new exploration companies and gold producers.
Thanks traps. I'm in for a bit.
Here's one for you & anyone else who happens to read this.
Check out Simba Energy TSX.v symbol SMB
Storyline goes like this :
Simba Energy in an incubator oil driller with property smack on the landward side of the beach of coastal Liberia.West Africa. Liberia, as you may likely know was a country with a lot of political unrest until a few years ago. Things have settled down since then and a few of the major offshore drillers are now starting to pay attention to it's energy production potential and within the past year have taken up greenfields offshore concessions along the coast. Simba got into the country very early in this process, and took up some of the landward side. Only the beach separates Simba from it's "big brother" neighbors. Simba's immediate seaside neighbor is Chevron with two offshore concessions bordering Simba's propery.
Does Simba have oil? To date nobody knows since very little actual exploration has been done , but there are some good indications that there might be. For one Simba conducted a land (surface only) survey of their property conducted by a troop of geologists & Liberian geology student hire-ons. These surveyors did find numerous , naturally occuring petromin seeps right on surface. The ones that stood out were oil slicks forming on top of ponds in the area. It is without a doubt, a risky , speculative stock with a lot of unknowns at this point , but with a price of just $0.18/share & a reasonable float, it might be worth a look. Simba & it's website link are up at stockhouse, should you want to take a close look at this one.
P.S. I got into this one last Spring @ around $0.10 / share and it just laid there -dead- until recently. It has just started to move within the past month, or so.
