Thank you for expressing an interest in Rubicon Minerals Corporation.

We are currently completing an aggressive $10 million exploration program at Red Lake which has resulted in a significant high-grade gold discovery at our Phoenix project. The Red Lake camp has produced over 20 million ounces of gold and is host to the world famous, high-grade Red Lake Mine owned by Goldcorp which is both Canada’s largest producing and lowest cost gold mine. In February, we announced the discovery of the F2 Zone at the Phoenix Gold Project and have reported numerous high-grade as well as bonanza grade gold intercepts over excellent widths including 26.0 oz/ton gold over 6.6 feet, 10.55 oz/ton gold over 5.9 feet , 1.53 oz/ton over 24.3 feet and 2.13 oz/ton over 9.8 feet. These results were encouraging enough to warrant the decision made in June, 2008 to de-water the 450-foot deep shaft in preparation for underground exploration.

Rubicon Minerals has the largest land position in this prolific, high-grade gold camp and controls over 100 square miles with much of it covering the East Bay Trend along which most of the recent gold discoveries in the camp have been made. As well, Rubicon has the largest land position in Alaska which surrounds the 4.5 million ounce Pogo Mine, plus a large land position in Nevada thus providing investors exposure to high geological potential in low political risk environments. Combined, our 2008 exploration expenditures are expected to be about $14 million.

We have a strong shareholder base with former Goldcorp CEO Rob McEwen owning about 31% of the stock, a top technical team with a track-record of discovery and an $18 million treasury. Rubicon’s shares offer investors an opportunity to participate in these highly prospective exploration plays and with major drill programs underway, now would be an opportune time to take a look at Rubicon Minerals Corporation.
