Wildcat Exploration Ltd. Announces Industry and Investor Meetings

20:30 EDT Monday, September 22, 2008

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - Sept. 22, 2008) - Wildcat Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:WEL)("Wildcat" or the "Company") is pleased to inform the investment community of upcoming opportunities to visit with the Company in the weeks ahead. John Knowles, Wildcat's President CEO, along with Peter Theyer, its chief geologist, will hold a series of meetings and presentations to communicate the opportunity that the Company represents at this stage of its development.

Mr. Knowles joined Wildcat in 2007. He has more than 25 years of resource industry experience in Canada and internationally, and is the former Executive Vice President and CFO of AUR Resources Inc., (now Teck Cominco Limited) and Vice President and CFO of HudBay Minerals Inc. Prior to joining the team at Wildcat in 2006, Dr. Theyer served 30 years as a mineral deposits geologist with the Manitoba government, prior to which he was an exploration geologist with Falconbridge Ltd. (now Xstrata Canada Corp.)

The initial meeting and presentation schedule includes presentations in Alberta, the week of September 22, 2008, British Columbia the week of October 20, 2008, and the Mid-Canada Investment Forum on November 4, 2008 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. These meetings, combined with Wildcat's attendance at the Manitoba Minerals Convention, November 20-22, 2008 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, and at the Saskatchewan Geological Survey Open House, December 1-3, 2008 at the Bessborough Hotel, Saskatoon, will bring the Wildcat Exploration Ltd. story to a wide range of interested industry participants and knowledgeable investors.

The Company controls significant land packages in two of the busiest metal discovery camps in Canada. At Reed Lake, in the Flin Flon-Snow Lake greenstone belt in Manitoba, appreciable concentrations of base metals (copper, nickel and zinc) have been discovered on three separate properties located on Wildcat's southern, western, and northern boundaries. In the Rice Lake mineral belt, also in Manitoba, Wildcat is the largest landholder of several active exploration companies in this re-emerging historical gold camp. The Company has made new anomalous gold discoveries on its projects in the area, as well as encountering anomalous nickel, copper and PGE concentrations in close proximity to the historic Jeep mine.

In addition, in neighboring Saskatchewan, the Company is pursuing the potential for multiple zinc deposits, on the basis of continuing evidence that its Foster River property, 120 km. north of La Ronge, contains several occurrences of Broken Hill type mineralization.

Those interested in seeing and hearing the detail of the Company's progress and plans for the immediate future in person, are invited to contact the Company.
